RIVERTON YOUTH GROUP

A very active youth group has evolved in the Riverton community. They meet weekly to plan events, and to socialize.  Additionally, some of these youth are involved in a Homework Club that supports community children needing extra help with their school work. A number of youth from the group have travelled to Canada to do summer camp leadership training in the Muskoka area. The project is sponsored by the Riverton Family Foundation, run by Maureen Roe, in collaboration with Camp Ekkon.

The youth group is planning to start a community newsletter. When they are up and running, issues of the newsletter will be posted on our website.
